Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist the Driller in setting up and operating drilling equipment and machinery.

• Perform general maintenance and cleaning of drill equipment under the guidance of the Driller.

• Handle and organize drilling tools, pipes, and other equipment.

• Load and unload drilling supplies and materials.

• Assist in the assembly and disassembly of drilling rigs.

• Support the Driller in executing drilling operations, including extracting samples and monitoring drilling progress.

• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

• Assist in maintaining accurate records of drilling activities, such as logs and reports.

• Transport drilling equipment and supplies to and from drilling sites.

• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions.

• Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by the Driller or supervisor.

The successful candidate will ideally possess the following qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Driller Helper or a similar labour position in the mining or exploration industry.

• Understanding of drilling operations and equipment.

• Physical fitness and ability to handle heavy equipment and perform physically demanding tasks.

• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.

• Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic equipment maintenance tasks.

• Utmost commitment to working safely and responsibly in a mining/exploration environment.

• Willingness to learn and grow within the role.

• Willingness to work in remote locations and adhere to rotational schedules.

• Valid driver’s licence and a clean driving record.

• Access to a Laptop and Mobile Phone
