Established in 2012 (formally ESP Engineering), is owned and operated by Stephen Norman P.Eng and currently licensed to practice under the Professional Engineers and Geoscientists Newfoundland and Labrador (PEGNL). Steve Norman has over 25 years of experience developing and designing large scale industrial projects, and executing professional project management for a variety of global companies such as Procter & Gamble, Vale, and Braya Renewable Fuels Refinery.

Markland offers professional engineering services in industries such as oil and gas, mining, food processing and manufacturing, renewable energy, wind turbine, Government permitting, municipal engineering, and capital works applications. Markland is particularly experienced in areas including, but not limited to: machine design, heavy industrial piping design, vessel and reactor internal support systems, municipal infrastructure (water and sewer systems), and project management services.

Markland is a continuously growing team and engages in numerous strategic partnerships with specialized consultants when the scope of work extends beyond in house capability or requires additional resources to meet the needs of clientele.
